Reporting Copyright Infringement

Free QR Code Generator ("QR Free") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our service.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please notify our Designated Copyright Agent with the information specified below.

Response Time: We aim to respond to all DMCA notices within 48 hours.

What Your Notice Must Include

For a DMCA notice to be effective, it must include all of the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the infringing material and its location on our site (specific URL)
  • Your contact information: full name, address, phone number, and email
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Our Takedown Procedure

Upon receiving a complete and valid DMCA notice, we will:

  1. Acknowledge receipt of the notice within 24 hours.
  2. Review the complaint to verify it meets DMCA requirements.
  3. Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  4. Notify the user who posted the material of the takedown.
  5. Provide the user with information about filing a counter-notification.

Counter-Notification

If you believe material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Designated Copyright Agent. The counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the removed material and its former location
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
  • Your name, address, phone number, and consent to jurisdiction of federal district court

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, QR Free will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright.
